Black Hawk County Health Department is a subcontractor for the Tobacco Prevention Grant, working with Pathways Behavioral Services and numerous local agencies and dedicated community members forming the Black Hawk County Tobacco Free Coalition. This coalition works to raise awareness about the dangers of tobacco use in Black Hawk County. It aims to prevent initiation of tobacco use by youth, promote cessation by adults and youth and to eliminate exposure to secondhand smoke.
