Personal: Born 1948, St. Francis Hospital, Waterloo. Son of Ellis and Shirley White, oldest of eight children.

Education: Attended St. Patrick’s Grade School, Cedar Falls; graduated from Columbus High School, Waterloo, 1967.

Military Service: Volunteered for the U.S. Army, served two years with a tour in Vietnam.

Family: Married to Dianne, children Brian, Zach and Megan. Nine grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
