MISSION STATEMENT
The Black Hawk County Regional Planning Council for Mental Health, Mental Retardation, Developmental Disabilities and Brain Injured services will plan, recommend to the Black Hawk County Board of Supervisors, and oversee an array of consumer focused services delivered within the parameters of managed care legislation and Black Hawk County policy.
Individuals seeking funding for services for people with disabilities from Black Hawk County must apply to the Central Point of Coordination (CPC) located in the Pinecrest Office Building in Waterloo. The CPC:
- determines eligibility for funding
- provides specific information about services and supports in the local area
- assists with referrals to service providers
